Green Motion Head Office Completes Gherkin Challenge

Release Date:

Green Motion Head Office Completes Gherkin Challenge

While some of you were enjoying a Sunday roast or an afternoon nap, the team from Green Motion Head Office were starting their Gherkin Challenge in support of the NSPCC.

The NSPCC is a UK based charity that aims to end cruelty and abuse for children. In light of recent news stories, the Green Motion Head Office team strongly felt that this cause should be highlighted and promoted so the charity can have a wider and deeper impact.

The four members of the Green Motion Head Office team were privileged to have the Chairman of the NSPCC running/walking with them and Green Motion received the first mention for the amount that they raised for the charity followed by a shout out for Expedia.

The challenge was more difficult than the team had anticipated. They were pushed to the front of the queue where the fast runners were meant to start. They all started off well but some members (we don’t want to name names) started to lag behind after their first gust of adrenaline wore off. The feeling of relief they should have felt once they climbed the last floor was marred by their efforts to simply remember how to breathe.
The Green Motion network are proud of their perseverance in the task and for their diligence in raising donations.

The team wanted to give everyone a massive THANK YOU for supporting them in the Gherkin Challenge - and for those who have not yet donated to the NSPCC there is still time to make a donation on the JustGiving page which will stay open until December (www.justgiving.com/greenmotion).
