Green Motion, the Award Winning low cost, low CO2 car and van rental company, has now been established at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, near Liverpool Airport, Speke, for seven months.

Green Motion, the Award Winning low cost, low CO2 car and van rental company, has now been established at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, near Liverpool Airport, Speke, for seven months.
They began in January with two employees and fourteen cars and now have six employees and seventy four cars! Their fleet has expanded to include vans and minibuses, with hybrids and now even electric cars being added every day. Green Motion Liverpool runs four all electric Nissan Leafs. Their arrival coincides with the installation of 175 new EV charging stations all around Liverpool city centre and the Merseyside area.
Four charging points will also be introduced at the company’s base, working in conjunction with Crowne Plaza and the Green Tourism Board. It’s innovation and partnership like this which has resulted in Green Motion being the proudly shortlisted in the Liverpool Echo Awards as best newcomer and carbon champion earlier in 2014.
They are proud to have ties with local business in the community, providing corporate car hire for BAC Mono, Forwessun and other local businesses. As well as their corporate customers, Green Motion Liverpool also provide leisure customers the opportunity to enjoy great value vehicle rental, while helping to reduce the impact of CO2 emissions associated with road travel. As well as offering low emission vehicles for hire, Green Motion Liverpool abides by its own all-embracing environmental policy, ensuring our effects on the planet are kept to a minimum.
Green Motion Liverpool is also proud to be integrating with the local community. They have recently established a partnership with the University of Liverpool and the Centre for Global Eco Innovation.
