Green Motion opens new car rental branch in Belfast

Belfast is the latest European city to see a Green Motion branch opening. The car rental branch will serve George Best Belfast City airport, offering travellers the option to enjoy low cost vehicle rental whilst helping to reduce the impact of C02 emissions.

Based at the Heron Business Park on the Harbour Estate, the Green Motion car rental branch will serve a variety of the 2.5 million passengers that pass through the airport annually – ranging from retail customers to cost-conscious business people. In addition, the branch will service the rental needs of customers in the greater Belfast area.

News of the opening comes in a year of expansion for Green Motion across the UK, with an Edinburgh Airport branch being added earlier this year. Established in 2007, Green Motion aims to offer its customers the opportunity to enjoy good value vehicle rental, whilst helping to reduce the impact of global C02 emissions associated with road travel. The company has won Rental Company of the Year at the Green Fleet Awards four times, and operates from branches across the United Kingdom and internationally.

The Green Motion franchise in Belfast will be operated by Granite Financial Limited, a locally owned business that is well established in the motor industry in Northern Ireland. They have interests including road traffic accident management, breakdown recovery and insurance services.
